Diabetes support that fits your life
Living with diabetes means making food decisions every day, often with conflicting advice about what to eat. Whether you have just been diagnosed or have managed diabetes for years, specialist support can help you feel more confident about your choices and how they affect your blood glucose.
We offer 1:1 online consultations with HCPC-registered dietitians. We look at your blood glucose patterns, medication, routine, preferences and goals, then build practical, sustainable strategies around them. There are no generic meal plans: every recommendation is tailored to you, whether that means carbohydrate counting, meal timing or fitting food around training.
We work alongside your GP and diabetes team rather than replacing them, and decisions about insulin and other medication stay with them. With your consent, we can share an update after your consultation so your care stays joined up and everyone is working towards the same goals.

Questions
Do you support both type 1 and type 2 diabetes?
Yes. We support adults with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as prediabetes, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. Your plan is tailored to your type of diabetes, your medication and your daily routine.
Will you change my insulin or medication?
No. Decisions about insulin and other diabetes medication stay with your GP or diabetes team. We focus on nutrition and work alongside them, and with your consent we can keep them updated.
How do online consultations work?
You book an initial consultation and activate your Practice Better account, our secure online platform. We send you pre-assessment forms, then you receive an email with your video link and meet your dietitian online.
I am newly diagnosed. Is it too early to see a dietitian?
No. Many people find specialist support helpful soon after diagnosis, when there is a lot of new information to take in. We can help you understand how food affects your blood glucose and build practical habits from the start.
Can you help if I play sport or train regularly?
Yes. We support athletes and active people with diabetes, including fuelling around training and competition. Our team has a strong background in sports nutrition.
