Online sports dietitian for athletes in Leeds

Specialist sports nutrition for rugby players, triathletes, cyclists and runners in Leeds and West Yorkshire, delivered online so it fits between training, work and study.

Sports nutrition for Leeds and Yorkshire

Leeds sits at the heart of a county that takes its sport seriously. Rugby league and rugby union are played at every level, cricket runs through Yorkshire summers, and the city has a strong triathlon and multisport community. With the Dales and Pennines close by, long hilly rides and fell runs are part of many athletes' weeks, and they place real demands on energy and recovery.

Our HCPC-registered dietitians and sports nutrition practitioners help you match what you eat to what you ask of your body. That might mean building enough carbohydrate into a heavy triathlon block, recovering between contact sessions in rugby, or planning food for a six-hour day in the hills.

Consultations are delivered entirely online. Whether you work in the city centre, study at one of the local universities or live out towards the Dales, you can join a session without travelling, and we keep reviewing your plan as the season moves on.

Frequently asked questions

I live in Leeds. Do I need to travel anywhere?

No. Nutrition & Co works online only, so there is nowhere to travel to. You meet your practitioner by secure video call from home, work or campus.

Can you help a rugby player gain muscle?

Yes. We look at your current intake, training load and recovery, then plan a gradual approach that supports strength and size while keeping you fit to train and play.

How do you support triathletes?

We plan fuelling across the different training sessions in your week and build a race-day strategy for your distance. Because gut tolerance varies a lot, we encourage you to practise it in training first.

What is RED-S and should I be worried?

RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport) can happen when energy intake does not meet the demands of training. Possible signs include ongoing fatigue, frequent injuries, changes to periods and a drop in performance. If any of these sound familiar, a dietitian can help you look at what is going on.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your goals and situation. Many people start with an initial consultation and then book follow-ups to review progress, and follow-up packages are available if you want structured ongoing support.
