1. Initial consultation

.The paediatric initial consultation in a dietetic session is a crucial meeting that establishes the foundation for a child's nutritional journey. The dietitian gathers comprehensive information about the child's medical history, growth patterns, dietary habits, and developmental milestones. They engage with parents or guardians to understand family dynamics and food preferences. This thorough assessment helps create a personalized nutrition plan that considers the child's specific needs, promoting healthy growth and development. The consultation also offers an opportunity for parents to seek guidance on feeding challenges and establish a supportive partnership with the nutritionist to foster the child's overall well-being.
