Online sports dietitian for athletes in Liverpool

Online sports nutrition for footballers, runners, boxers and gym athletes in Liverpool and Merseyside, from a team with professional football and North West NHS experience.

Football heritage, specialist support

Few cities live and breathe football like Liverpool, and that passion runs from professional academies to five-a-side leagues across Merseyside. The city also has busy boxing and combat sport gyms, a strong running community along the waterfront and a large student population. Each of these groups has different nutrition needs, and generic advice rarely fits.

Tom Hill, our Sports & Performance Nutritionist, studied for his BSc at Liverpool John Moores University and has worked in professional football at Liverpool FC. Our founder, Jenaed Ruddock, has NHS dietetic experience in the North West, including East Cheshire NHS Trust and Morecambe Bay Hospitals. Together with our wider dietetic team, we bring performance and clinical knowledge to every plan.

All consultations are online. You speak to us by video call from home or work, with no journey through city traffic, and we follow up as your season, fight camp or race build-up develops.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a clinic in Liverpool?

No. We are an online-only clinic and do not offer in-person appointments. Clients in Liverpool and Merseyside meet us by secure video call, which saves travel time and makes sessions easier to fit around training.

Can you help me make weight for a boxing bout?

We can help you plan for a weight category safely and gradually. We do not support extreme or rapid weight-cutting methods, and your health and performance always come first.

Is Tom Hill a dietitian?

No. Tom is an SENr-registered Sports & Performance Nutritionist who focuses on high-performance athletes. If you have a medical condition, RED-S or an eating concern, you will be seen by one of our dietitians or our Eating Disorder Nutrition Specialist.

What happens in the first consultation?

We spend 60 minutes on your sport, training, health history, eating pattern and goals. You leave with clear, personalised priorities, and follow-up sessions let us review and adjust them.

Can I claim on private medical insurance?

Possibly. We accept Bupa UK, AXA, Vitality, Aviva, WPA, Healix and Cigna UK, subject to your policy and pre-authorisation. Check your cover with your insurer first.
