Online sports dietitian for athletes in Birmingham
Evidence-based sports nutrition for footballers, runners, cricketers and active professionals in Birmingham and the West Midlands, delivered by secure video call around your training.
Fuelling for a city built on sport
Birmingham has deep football roots, a long cricket tradition and a running scene that has grown since the city hosted the 2022 Commonwealth Games. From Sunday league to semi-professional squads, many athletes here train hard with little structured nutrition support. We aim to close that gap with specialist advice that is practical, safe and grounded in current evidence.
Our sports nutrition team includes Tom Hill, a Sports & Performance Nutritionist whose past roles include work in professional football at Birmingham City FC. Alongside our HCPC-registered dietitians, he helps players think about match-day fuelling, recovery between fixtures and body composition goals without compromising performance.
Every appointment takes place online, so there is no drive across the ring road or wait for parking. You join from home, the training ground car park or your lunch break, and we review your plan regularly as fixtures, race dates or work patterns change.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see a sports dietitian online if I live in Birmingham?
Yes. We are an online-only clinic, so clients in Birmingham and across the West Midlands book exactly as anyone else in the UK would. Sessions run by secure video call, and you can join from wherever is convenient.
Do you work with amateur footballers?
Yes. Most of the footballers we support play at grassroots or semi-professional level. We tailor advice to your training load, the time you have to prepare food and your position and role in the team.
Who will I see?
We match you to the practitioner whose experience fits your needs. Performance and football questions often suit Tom Hill, while RED-S, eating concerns or medical conditions are seen by one of our dietitians or our Eating Disorder Nutrition Specialist.
Can you help me fuel for a marathon?
Yes. We look at your training plan, your gut tolerance and your race-day logistics, then build a carbohydrate and fluid strategy. You test it on long runs so there are fewer surprises on the day.
Is private health insurance accepted?
We accept UK private medical insurance from Bupa UK, AXA, Vitality, Aviva, WPA, Healix and Cigna UK. Cover depends on your policy and pre-authorisation, so check with your insurer before you book.
